Tour Highlights
-
Upcountry Maui and Haleakala: We begin our journey by making our way to the backside of Haleakala, venturing through the Upcountry area of Maui. Our scenic loop of East Maui takes us to the Kipahulu district, with stops along the way to take in the views and stretch our legs. (Note: Weather and road conditions may affect our route.)
-
Haleakala National Park: Once in the park, we’ll visit the Oheo Gulch, home to the famous Seven Sacred Pools. These beautiful pools and waterfalls meet the rough ocean waves, creating a dramatic scene.
-
Pipiwai Trail Hike: The highlight of the day is the Pipiwai Trail hike, a 2-hour adventure through the valley. As we walk, we’ll pass a towering banyan tree, explore an eerie bamboo forest, and make our way to the stunning Waimoku Waterfall, a 300-foot tall waterfall that will take your breath away.
-
Lunch in Hana: After our hike, we’ll stop in Hana for a well-earned lunch at one of the local food trucks.
-
Return Trip: In the afternoon, we’ll travel back along the Road to Hana, passing through lush rainforests, scenic waterfalls, and making a stop at Wai’anapanapa State Park to visit the striking Black Sand Beach.
This is your private tour, so feel free to speak with your guide about the activities and stops you’d like to include. We want to ensure you get the most out of your adventure!
